The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), Contract and Grant Administration (CGA), and Sponsored Programs Administration (SPA) will be observing MSU’s 2025 winter break from Thursday, December 25th, 2025 through Friday, January 2nd, 2026. OSP/CGA/SPA staff will not be working during this time and actions requiring our involvement (e.g. proposals, RPPRs, etc.) must be submitted to the appropriate office by noon on Friday, December 19th, 2025.

Just in Time

Upon receiving an application or proposal a sponsor may request additional submissions or changes while considering whether to award funding. The sponsor will typically set deadlines for additional submissions or changes and will specify the procedures for transmitting them to the sponsor.  The changes and additional submissions must be allowable and acceptable to Michigan State University (MSU).  The applicable Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) Proposal Team (see OSP Contacts by College) will review the changes and additions to the application or proposal before submitting to the sponsor. Please note that only OSP has authority to submit the changes and additional submissions.
