Eligibility

Only eligible MSU faculty members may submit a proposal as a PI without requesting PI exception approval. Information regarding who can submit a proposal and the steps for requesting PI exception approval can be found at the PI Eligibility and Requesting Exceptions webpage.

For proposals that have sponsor prescribed limited submission requirements, please follow the procedure outlined on the Office of Research and Innovation website.
